When carrying out financial transactions, the program itself, precisely, calculates the cost of work for the doctor, which will significantly reduce your time for counting, especially when there are many orders. The main thing is to correctly initially indicate the cost of types of prosthetics, prosthetic elements and cost-increasing elements. Be careful when creating new types of prosthetics, marking all the required fields.


Chapter 2.

Where to begin?

To begin with, you need to determine by what logic you will work with the program. There are different approaches depending on the structure of the laboratory.

 You can use the application only for accounting work with a doctor and this is an easier way. Another approach is when you want to keep records inside the dental laboratory and automatically calculate the salary of dental technicians-executors (this includes the first one).

In both cases, you need to start by adding a list of doctors. This can be done by entering the "Doctors" section by selecting the "+" key. When filling out the doctor's (or staff's) questionnaire, pay attention to the required fields. Next, you need to add the types of prosthetics (we will write how to do this in a separate chapter). In addition to the types of prosthetics, you can add prosthetics elements as well as cost-increase elements to the order.

If we are talking about a laboratory, then you need to add dental technicians. If there are moderators (administrators with limited access rights to data), then there are also moderators. Remember that dental technicians can also add a moderator function. We want to say right away that by adding dental technicians, you give them access to your laboratory and they can fill out orders. By logging into your account, dental technicians-performers can see only their orders and only the prices that you have set for them. They also have a restriction on access to accounting and statistical data - more on this in the following chapters.


Chapter 3.

If you are a technician working alone or a laboratory operator and want to run the program only for calculating with a doctor, then the main thing that you need to fill in is: types of prosthetics, prosthetic elements and, if necessary, elements of an increase in price.



Creation of the basic type of prosthetics.

In the settings, find the item "Types of prosthetics", open and write the name. Determine the price for the doctor that he will have to pay you for the execution of a unit of this work. Indicate whether a CAD-CAM center or a foundry is needed for this type of prosthetics. If this is a removable prosthetics - tick the box. Also check the box that this is the main type of prosthetics and not an intermediate stage. In the end, it remains only to choose a color for the font of this type of prosthetics, use your imagination and associative thinking to associate this color with the corresponding type of prosthetics.



What are the differences between the main type of prosthetics (OLT) and the intermediate stage (PE)?

 It so happened that both of these concepts are in the settings under one item "Types of prosthetics". Although these are slightly different concepts, but in the algorithm for using them in a program, they are very close in meaning.

What determines the main type of prosthetics (PRP) is the availability of a price for the doctor (> 0). Its user-administrator sets it based on its pricing policy.

The intermediate stage (PE), in turn, always has a zero price value for the doctor (= 0) - an internal laboratory stage for which the doctor does not pay money. This can be: plastering in an occluder, wax modeling, processing of the frame and everything for which the doctor will not pay money. we usually recommend that such intermediate stages be highlighted in gray.

The concept of an intermediate stage is necessary for a more subtle and complex configuration of the program, namely: for work aimed at laboratory personnel. If you write down intermediate stages, you will be able to delegate filling in the internal data of the laboratory to the dental technicians who will do these stages, accordingly filling out the orders, in the future this will make it possible to carry out a calculation with them for the work they have done. very important the last stage of the cycle of intermediate stages should be the main type of prosthetics. For example, the manufacture of a metal-ceramic crown can be divided into the following stages: preparatory work (PE), modeling of a wax frame (PE), casting and metal processing (PE); and, the main stage is the application of ceramics, which can be written simply - a metal-ceramic crown or MK (OTP). All intermediate stages will have a price only for the executing technician and only the main stage, MK, will have both prices: the cost for the doctor and the cost for the ceramic technician. It is important to adhere to this principle when forming complex orders. As mentioned, intermediate steps are not necessary if you keep records only in relation to the doctor.


Chapter 4

Filling out the order.

You can create an order from different windows of the program. If you create an order in the main window of the "My orders" section, then you will need to specify a doctor when filling out the form, you will not have to do this if you create an order from the doctor's window - it will already be automatically registered. Filling out the dress always begins with the choice of the type of prosthetics or an intermediate stage, they must be indicated on the dental formula. After filling out the form, you proceed to filling in additional data. If you do not specify a dental technician, by default the order will be registered to the administrator. although the field of the patient's surname is not mandatory, we strongly recommend filling it in, especially if it is necessary to issue complex orders. you can specify the color of the teeth according to the Vita shade. If the color is very complex or there are peculiarities of the structure, you can use a written note, add multimedia in the form of an audio file or a photograph. set the date of fitting and delivery.



What are the Elements of Prosthetics.

We introduced this concept in order to distinguish a clasp with two attachments from a clasp with three attachments, where an attachment is an element of prosthetics.

Also, the elements of prosthetics can be used when making out a complex order, for example, when it is necessary to make a temporary crown and a metal-ceramic crown for one tooth. All this can be recorded in one order without resorting to combining orders. in this case, the type of prosthetics is a metal-ceramic crown, and an intraluminal inlay and a temporary crown can be added as elements of prosthetics. Of course, for this you need to prescribe such prosthetics elements in the settings. If necessary, you can resort to duplicating the value of types of prosthetics in the elements of prosthetics.


Elements of the Rise are another concept when decorating an order. Its function is the percentage multiplication of the cost of an order or individual types / elements of prosthetics.

For instance. In addition to your country, you also work for export, for foreign clients the price of your work is 30% more expensive. To do this, you need to create a price increase element "Export work" in the settings with a price increase of 30%, specifying all types of work. Next, let your imagination work as you can still use it.

At the end of filling out the order form, you must press the corresponding confirmation key.


It will be better if the orders are drawn up by the technicians, the performers are interested so as not to miss anything, since they receive a salary for the completed orders. It is important to teach the team the discipline of completing their stages in advance, so that the moderator or administrator can enter new data that will come from the clinics.


Chapter 5

Actions with orders.

The action "Complete calculation" of orders is used when you receive money for these orders. A full calculation can be done in two ways, the first is by entering the order and confirming the full calculation, the second is by selecting the orders from the general list of orders. When calculating orders, you can take a screenshot from the confirmation window for calculating orders with the total amount, you can also share it with a doctor or clinic. Alternatively, you can send a screenshot, but do not confirm the calculation if this was not the case. The value of the field "Full calculation" in the administrator's account and in the account of the technician of the executor have different meanings, in the first case it is the doctor / administrator, in the second case - the administrator of the laboratory / technician the executor, this can also be seen from the prices for the order set by the administrator.

If you received the money in advance, you can use the "advance" action. be careful to study the logic of making a repeated advance payment to the same order. If the work hangs for a long time and is not calculated for a long time, you can send the order into debt. You can view such orders in the money accounting section - the debts section. Also you can send print orders use the print function to generate a pdf file. This file can also be simply shared with the doctor.

If we have several orders of the same patient, then they must be combined into one order. In large laboratories, this should be done by a moderator. To do this, you need to keep your finger on one of the orders, activating the selection mode, then just select those orders that you want to group. The number of selected orders changes the actions possible with them. You cannot make an advance payment or change the price if several orders are selected. the function of seeing the color of the orders can be used to indicate the conditional status of the orders, for example, "the work has been delivered to the doctor", "the work for which the doctor has paid" - the color value is conditional and is determined by the administrator, having agreed with the participants of the laboratory. Actions to change the price, advance payment and disconnect outfits can only be performed by opening the order.


Chapter 6

Payment for the work performed by the staff.

Confirmation of the payment for the work performed on orders with the executing technicians is possible only through their account. The administrator can view the orders of the contractor's technician at his rate in the "Personnel" section. In this way, the administrator can prepare to pay salaries by the end of the month or week.

the calculation procedure is as follows: a dental technician comes to the administrator with an open account on his device. Together with the administrator, they enter the money accounting section. In this section, you can select the outfits for which the doctor paid off with one press of the toggle switch. It is fair to set such orders for the first moment to the calculation, but if the administrator considers this amount to be insufficient for the salary of the technician, he can also add from the orders that have not been calculated by the doctor, which will accordingly increase the amount of the salary.

Calculation with the performer technician can also be made from the main list of orders in his account.


Section 7

Difference between the offline version and the online version.

The difference between the offline version and the online version is that the database is stored on the device itself, which makes it difficult to edit data remotely. Sooner or later you will have to change the device and in order not to lose data you will need to remove the database file from the phone. This file can be found in a specific folder through explorer:

Internal memory -> Android-> data-> com.mashtaler.adtd.adtlab-> files-> DTLab-> ADTLabDB

    The file is signed with the date of its creation. Every day at login, the database is copied to the device. When selecting a file to transfer, look for the latest creation date. Having selected a "fresh" file, you can send it via messenger to another device and install it in a similar folder. This can be done using an sd card. Next, use the "Restore Database" function.     If desired, the administrator can transfer data to the server and use the program online. This will allow each participant in the laboratory to use their phone. To do this, you need to enter the settings and select the DTLab Online item. To work online, all participants need to download the DTLab Online application (Play Market/App Store).     You can manage your subscriptions through the channel you used to purchase. For subscriptions created through a Google Play Store account; you can manage your subscriptions at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions by going to Menu > Subscriptions.   For subscriptions created through an Apple Store account; you can manage your subscriptions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039 by clicking on "Manage Subscriptions". In the iOS version, you can delete the account of your laboratory in the settings (Security) - then you can use your Apple ID to register a new laboratory in the DTLab Online program.      Note: After canceling your subscription, you can continue to use the DTLab application until the end of the paid term. When canceling a subscription, previous subscription payments are non-refundable and not prorated to the date of cancellation.
